About Readings Daily

Our Mission

Readings Daily exists to make it easy to read the Word of God every day. Following the Catholic Church's liturgical calendar, each day brings a Gospel reading and one or two readings from Scripture - the same readings proclaimed at Mass around the world.

There are no accounts, no advertising, and no distractions. Just the readings, presented clearly, with the hope that you'll keep reading.

Installing as an App

Readings Daily is not just a website, but also a Progressive Web App (PWA). On Android, tap Add to Home Screen in your browser menu. On iOS, tap the Share button in Safari, then Add to Home Screen.

Once installed, pages you have visited will be available offline.

Special Thanks

The liturgical calendar and reading assignments are based on the Roman Rite lectionary as promulgated by the Catholic Church. Grateful thanks to all those who work to make Scripture accessible in digital form.

Thanks to the team at World English Bible (WEB) who published the translation in the public domain for all to use. The WEB is a modern English translation of the Bible, based on the American Standard Version (ASV) of 1901, and updated with contemporary language and scholarship.
